Success Story – July – Dorothy Oliver
Ms. Dorothy Oliver was admitted to Calhoun Convalescent Center due to hospitalization for a recent fall, leaving her with decreased mobility and knee pain. Ms. Oliver’s goal with us was to progress to her prior level of function of independence with all daily living tasks and mobility. After weeks of progressive therapy, Ms. Oliver received good news of her planned discharge home with family support and Home Health services.
Success Story – June – Annie Hill
Ms. Annie Hill was admitted to Calhoun Convalescent Center with failure to thrive and acute metabolic encephalopathy. After several weeks of dedicated physical and occupational therapy, Ms. Hill’s sacral wound has healed completely with the help of nursing.

Ms. Bobbie Bowers was admitted to Calhoun Convalescent Center due to recent hospital stay due to acute COPD and CVA. This left Ms. Bowers unable to return home with family, where she had once been independent with all self-care and daily activities.
