Success Story
“Good luck to you and your family!”
Ms. Roberta Miller came to Calhoun Convalescent Center after a recent hospital stay that left her unable to perform her activities of daily living independently and deliberated from being bedridden.
Ms. Miller attended several weeks of physical and occupational therapy sessions to improve her overall ability to return home, which included strengthening her upper and lower body, balance training, and gait training without an assistive device, and self-care tasks. She was very passionate on returning home to be able to spend time with her family and friends.
After diligently working to achieve her goal towards independence, our team is happy to announce that Ms. Roberta was able to return home with the support of her family and home health services.
