“We applaud your success Mr. Mills!”

Mr. Waylan Mills admitted to Calhoun Convalescent Center after having surgery for a femur fracture due to a fall at home prior to hospitalization.  Mr. Mills lived alone with assist from family at times, but after surgery he was unable to return home independently due to increase pain, decrease in all activities of daily living, and ambulation.

After several month of working with physical and occupational therapy, Mr. Mills was able to walk without an assistive device on even and uneven surface, improve balance, and decrease pain in order to take care of all his need at home independently. He was always in high spirits and kept the facility smiling with his witty jokes!
